Lubna Samara is Leadership & Spiritual Coach, as well as being an experienced healer and therapist of over 25 years standing. She has helped people all over the world to grow beyond their limitations and fulfil their potential and purpose. 

Lubna started her working life as a mathematician in the Petroleum Industry, later moving to Investment Banking.  Around that time, she spontaneously started seeing energy fields and chakras and receiving guidance on how to use energy to accelerate the healing of past trauma and find a doorway to the light.

This period marked the beginning of an intense spiritual awakening and she eventually left her banking career to follow her calling.  She spent many years immersed in spiritual practices like T'ai Chi, meditation, reading voraciously about spirituality, philosophy and psychology, and attending many courses of various disciplines and methods.  For a period of around 8 years, she worked on her own healing, doing 2 hours a day of T’ai Chi and Chi Kung in the morning, 2 hours of meditation in the evening and a couple of hours of reading.  She came to be known by her friends as The Urban Hermit.

Lubna holds a BSc in Mathematics and an MBA in Finance, is founder of HigherWill, winner of Best Leadership & Spiritual Coaching Co in 2021 of the SME Greater London Awards, and is a long-standing Mentor with The Healing Trust.

Throughout all these years, Lubna has never failed to be moved and humbled by the Love and Guidance that surrounds each one of us - equally. In its highest sense, at HigherWill we aim to raise the lower will and desires to harmonise with the Higher Will - whether that's your own Higher Self, Universal Love or the Divine - and to apply this to create a better world for all of us.

A Little About How I got Here

Like many, my journey started off as one of self-healing.

It’s a bit of a cliche to say the spiritual part of my life suddenly escalated whilst I was working in finance but truth to tell I enjoyed my time in Banking. I had tried to learn meditation and had been for counselling at that point, but was caught off guard when one day I looked down and saw small clouds circling down my body floating just in front. Not sure whether to be excited or shaken by this I asked a friend who was into “alternative stuff”; she told me these were chakras and gave me a book to read.

This small event heralded a period of intense spiritual activity… and purification. I looked for a spiritual teacher trying many disciplines and although all of them had a lot to offer, non felt like a spiritual fit. I happen to believe in a Maker who loves each one of us equally and believe that we’re all spectacularly well guided, so I decided to DIY it and try tuning into this guidance myself.

As my energy became stronger a couple of people suggested doing a course in Healing. Sceptical and on an “I’ll try anything once” basis I went to one session just to tick that box, and was struck by what our minds are able to perceive when we focus it. That first session was in January ‘93 and I have continued to immerse myself in meditation, reflection, and what I call “conscious questioning” to activate the superconscious mind and grow the conscious awareness.

Constant throughout all this time, and overriding all else, is the devotion I feel for the Divine.

Other than that I love skiing, hiking. Anything mountains really. And laughing mindlessly with family and friends is always a good way to remind me of the joy we all share.
